About Us

A diverse range of people (ecologists, horticulturists, photographers, graphic designers, information technologists and computing undergraduates) drawn from the James Hutton Institute and University of Abertay Dundee were, and continue to be, involved in the design, development and content of ASIS.

Undergraduates, University of Abertay Dundee

This website was developed by a team of fourth year computing students from the University of Abertay Dundee for their Industrial Project. They designed and built the Seed Identification System for The James Hutton Institute over an eight month period.

The team consisted of 5 members:

(From left to right: Kris Cruickshank, Georgette Johnston, Ben Scott, Grace Larsen and Colin Edwards)

We would also like to thank the staff at The James Hutton Institute for the opportunity to develop this system and Dr Dave Ellison for being our lecturer and project supervisor at Abertay University.
